Applications under the operating system also need to be updated.
MacBook
Homebrew Cask’s application update was always a problem, and App Store’s automatic update was the best but the least used. It’s been bothering me for a long time, but it’s okay now.
I believe in the principle of applying MacOS:
- The first edition of Web, like Discord, Slack, Telegram, Spotify
- Second inbound App Store Homebrew.
- It’s not installed.
Of which Web version does not need to be updated, App Store will automatically update, Homebrew will only execute orders every day

But App Store can sometimes be automatically updated for days, which cannot be tolerated, by installing [mas] [https://github.com/mas-cli/mas/] with a command line trigger for compulsory updating, plus an update of the wordbook of the rat’s swipe and alias, and this is my general order.

NAS
There are two parts where the swarms are automatically updated, and Docker is partly updated automatically with [WATCHTower] (https://containrr.dev/watchtower/)

Other
The iPad and iPhone applications are automatically updated, but they are often updated for several days, so the first thing to do in the morning is to get up and brush them manually, and other less commonly used devices wait for alarms or automatic updates.
Plugin
The plugin in the application also needs to be updated
Browser
It’s usually automatically updated, but there’s a situation where it’s stuck for days without updating.

Obsidian
Obsidian’s community plugins and theirs need to be updated, and there is no automatic way for the official to update them. Automatic updates can be achieved by adding another plugin (https://github.com/TfTHacker/obsidian42-brat), which I currently use.
VS Code
VS Code has a good automatic update. These are the VS Code plugins I’m using.

Home Assistant
Home Assistant didn’t go that far. I installed a Home Assistant Community Store (HACS) to get more integration, but it didn’t update it automatically, nor did it update the alarm, so it was only possible to see the key.
The project depends
Reliance on the project also needs to be updated, and I use Decendabot to automatically submit an updated pr, and for projects with perfect automated testing, such as RSSHUb, you can then use [Github Action Merge Dependabot] (https://github.com/fastify/github-action-merge-dependabot) for automatic consolidation without a second.

It’s not always enough to update it quietly, and I’ll subscribe to them with some important or interested software.
